Farmer Built Structures is an agriculture-based construction company located in Bowden Alberta Canada. Farmer Built specializes in custom hay sheds, cold storage, greenhouses, and commercial buildings
We have been doing business in Alberta for over 20 years with hundreds of sheds dotting the landscape of rural Alberta, BC, and beyond.
Farmer Built was started by Jim Klys, a farmer in Carstairs Alberta. In 2024 Jim retired and sold the company to Ken and Nathan Taks, former employees of Farmer Built, who happen to also be relatives of the Klys family.

Ken and Nathan are excited to continue Jim's legacy of creating high quality, cost effective buildings, with quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
